Teepee tent

The last (fifth) tent that we have selected for you in our list is the teepee tent, which is a very cool and wonderful tent that looks like a big cone. It consists of racks and of stuffs. Native Americans used it a lot of years ago. Even today, indoor play tent & teepee tents remain popular for camping and outdoor play.

The inauguration tents are, of course, nothing new. The homes of American Indians were called teepees. They were easily erected and dismantled as the tribes shifted locations. Teepee tents were constructed using buffalo hide or other animal skins which would help to keep the people inside warm and dry. With the cone shape of the teepee tent, the smoke from the fire inside could escape the top. They could cook and keep warm within the confines of their teepee tent.
